RIYADH: The General Directorate of Civil Defense has urged the public to remain cautious as thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected to persist across most regions of Saudi Arabia until Monday.
According to the report, Residents are advised to stay in safe areas, avoid valleys and flood-prone locations, and refrain from swimming in them.
According to the forecast, dust-stirring winds and moderate to heavy rainfall are expected in the Makkah and Riyadh regions.
The directorate also warned of moderate to heavy rain in Tabuk, Madinah, Jouf, Northern Borders, Eastern Province, Hail, Qassim, Baha, and Asir. The Jazan region will see light to moderate rain, while Najran will experience light showers.
The Civil Defense has urged the public to stay updated by following official channels and social media for the latest weather alerts.
